This diecast reflects the #24 Snoopy Peanuts 50th Anniversary paint scheme that Jeff Gordon drove in the Brickyard 400 NASCAR Winston Cup Series race at Indianaplois Motor Speedway on Saturday August 5, 2000. Gordon started the race in 29th position and finished 33rd. The race was a heavyweight slug-out between Rusty Wallace, who lead a race-high 110 laps, and Bobby Labonte. Labonte passed Wallace to reclaim the lead with 15 laps remaining and held-off Wallace to earn the victory in his Interstate Batteries Pontiac for Joe Gibbs Racing. The win propelled Labonte to the 2000 driver's championship.
